This offer was born from a want to ensure that Black performers of all identities and gender expressions are being provided with an opportunity to audition some of language around consent practices that are now being implemented at studios like HBO, Netflix and Disney and supported by organizations such as SAG and AEA.
In an ever-changing industry, it's important to us at Black Intimacy Consent Collective to connect with Black creatives and collaborate/conspire on consent-inspired tools and language for empowered practices that include saying no. Intro 2 Consent for Black Creatives is an invitation and spring board to fostering a personal practice of embodied consent that can travel with individuals wherever they go.
WHAT IS IT?
Workshop includes group discussions and activities that engage imagination and physical movement, partner work, and structure improv.
Participants are also invited to attend two virtual group meetings (30 days & 60 days after our workshop) in an effort to support continued self practice and communal learning. Planning will be based on the best scheduling options for the group.

This workshop is not designed to be part of an intimacy training program.
